Tempting

I'm craving for chocolates.

Thanks huh.

Parasite

I want to be angry, but I can't.
I want to cry, but I can't.

Why is it that when I found someone else I like, I'll slowly try to forget the previous. Like a parasite clinging on to a host. When the current one becomes exhausted, it'll find better one. I'm just like that.

Basically I'm just a flirt.

On the other hand, I'm also a sadist.

I'm just being over-sensitive. Once I start being sad, it'll take some time for me to be happy again. Unless it's someone close to me...

Oh well, trying hard to smile.

Someone slap me. Either that or hug me. Whichever you choose.

Still staring at the couples seat.

Miraculously, I reached home alive.

Trip to Sentosa

I reached Harbour Front at noon, only to find out that we were supposed to meet at 11am instead. Fortunately, I still managed to meet them there. They said CS was coming. So we waited...

and waited...

and waited. In the end we gave up and made our towards Sentosa.

Reached Palawan Beach and stared at the sea. It's brown.

Dirty.

Yi Yin drew this.

And we saw 2 squirrels on top of the coconut tree! Managed to find out but couldn't find the other one.

See the squirrel?

After getting ourselves lost for no reason, we finally reached Siloso Beach. Taking the beach tram had never been so much fun.

Sitting on a rock.

Here lies Jolin.

And next shall be Najib.
Like a little girl in a kiddy pool.
One sleeps, the other SMSes while another can smile while chatting on the phone.
The 3 SB.

Delon trying to climb the coconut tree. The highest he can go.

And for the finale, a cute little snail found outside the toilet. What's unique about it is that it's shell is placed on its side instead of the normal way.
-----------------------------------------------
I shall conserve myself into solitusion to prevent myself from being such a burden.

Self-declared Sushi Day

Started with a bore, ended with a blast! Well, not really, but still great.

We started with pool at the usual place, because the rates are quite cheap.

Then went to Carrefour and ate sushi. I didn't. Only Delon, Rui Hua and Li Min. So I sat and stared at them while they ate.

Another round of sushi, and my first time trying sushi (FYI, i dislike eating cold foods e.g. cold rice.). They were tasty, and it made me want to go back and buy a few more, but sadly, my budget is used up.

From top left (clockwise): Salmon, egg, crabstick, tuna.

Mustafa for BBQ stuffs on Saturday!

W26K featured

It's the end of the first semester. I would have been sad to separate class if not for 1 person. Too bad. Hate me if you want.

Times we shared as a class, be it in school or outside. We still had fun together.

No matter what, W26K will always be together.

It's coming to the end of the semester. And I'm looking forward to changing class.

I'm not sad. Rather, I want to leave 'something' behind. I'm not a sadist.

New friends, again.

Looking forward to the chalet though.

I'm still thinking whether to initiate Operation: L-N-I-A.

If it's initiated, it will start during the class chalet.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

In the end, nobody helped. So i'm left with just myself to depend on.

Maybe i'm just being over-sensitive. But that's just me.

Last Science lesson
It was another boring Science lesson for Rui Hua. You can see from his face. He doesn't even know why he's present today in the first place.

There were only 2 teams today, and only half the class came for today's lesson. That's the other team in the picture by the way. The other side of the classroom was empty.
Don and Jo came during Meeting 3 to deliver donuts! Yay! =)
This is Valerie, our Science facilitator! =)
Since it was the last Science lesson, I suggested taking a class photo, to remember the times we had, having such a nice Science faci, despite the incredibly hard problems. =/

Another one, with the whole team. And what's with Najib siol?
Goodbye Valerie, we will miss you. =(

Last train home

Managed to catch the last train to Harbour Front.

Nearly missed the last train to Boon Lay.

Me, Delon and Jolin brisk-walked our way to the last train as quickly as possible. Me and Delon were huffing and puffing loudly as soon as we entered the train. It was exhilirating and fun. It's been eons since I last ran that much.

In the train on the way to Boon Lay, Delon kept hoping that the last train to Marina Bay from Jurong East would still be available. We were chatting and mind was thinking about other things, relating back to the incident that we had just now.

[Imagine a couple, a guy and a girl rushing from Outram station's NE line. They find out that the last train to Boon Lay has arrived and they started running together. The guy runs too fast and the girl couldn't catch up. Because it's the last train and if they miss this train they wouldn't be able to go home. Furthermore, both are on a tight budget and couldn't take a taxi home.

Not wanting to miss the last train, the guy runs back to the girl and starts to carry her on his back. He then started running as fast as he can, despite the weight acting on him. The further he travelled, the more painful it is on his arm. But he persevered on. The final obstacle was to go up and finally reaching the train. The escalator was crowded and he decided to take the stairs. The pain was proving to be too much for him. But he is not intending to stop now, because the train is just out of reach. He felt as though the weight acting on his arms is too much and going to break soon. With his last burst of strength, he pushes himself up the stairs and into the train.

He gently puts her down and started breathing heavily. The pain on his arms are still there, but it was worth it. Because right there, she is just beside him. She's able to go home safely.]

I imagined myself to be as that guy in the scenario. Because you like someone, you tend to sacrifice for the one you like. In this case, the sacrifice is worth it.

If Result > Sacrifice = ✓
But if Sacrifice > Result =✗ because what you're doing in the end is wasted.
Also, Result ≠ Sacrifice. You can't gauge how equal Result and Sacrifice is together. But comparing Result and Sacrifice is easier because it is ≪ or ≫ .

Don't get what I mean? You have to experience it yourself.

But this is just my theory.

Sticky Bubbles and A Crappy Carrot

Cognitive was fun and it was one of the easy modules throughout the semester. We had 4 groups instead of the usual 5, and each team is supposed to have 6 members. Time sped like a train bullet. 1st breakout occurs as usual.

Got back and started doing the floor plan, and used Microsoft Visio for the first time. The task for the group is to create a floor plan such that the CDs in the music shop are categorised in such a way that customers are able to get the CDs that they want with minimal effort.

I was having fun doing the layout, and here is what I came up with:

During 2nd breakout, we had fun playing with bubbles. Not those normal kinds, but those that will stick onto surfaces. It'll get really sticky when you burst them. And stupid me caught all the bubbles and then my shirt is all graffitised with burst bubbles. Haha.

I even took a pic where the bubbles all stuck to the floor outside the classroom:

After school, me, Rui Hua and Jia Lan went to CWP to buy a little somthing for someone's birthday present. And it came with a free gift:

I apologise for the lack of light in the room. It's still dark even wit +2 exposure... Anyway, in case you didn't notice the words, it's called "crappy carrot". And it's squishy! I love squishing it! =)

Time for me to go. Have to study for tomorrow's Enterprise UT.

Tix for pix

Went to collect 'tickets' at Singapore Indoor Stadium. It was supposed to be work for me but then again, it felt as though I wasn't working at all. Because it was fun collecting 'tickets'. You'll get to know why later.

Met Ben at Eunos MRT station first, where her parents sent us there by car. First time meeting them in person.

Upon arriving, we didn't know where to go. But then we decided that we went around from the back all the way to the ticket counter to collect the 'tickets.' Reached the box office and asked to collect the 'tickets'.

"Who are you collecting the tickets on behalf? And what show are you collecting the tickets?" was what the counter girl asked. A "Don Moen" show titled the Festival of Praise. But the counter girl couldn't the name anywere in the database. But she directed us to the security officer.

Weirdly, there wasn't supposed to be any 'tickets' to enter the event, because it's free. It starts at 5.30 and they had another show yesterday, which had full house attendance. We went up and queued. There weren't a lot of people at the time we started queueing. We were the 3rd group.

"Congratulations. You're the 3rd team to arrive."

Pics because we were bored.

The queue as the opening reaches closer.

Ben's freshly manicured fingernails. Light-bluey.

Went to the restroom for a while and got stuck in the queue. But then I still managed to get inside the stadium. My first time inside. And it was eff-ing huge!

Get what I mean?

In the end we still got paid. We didn't get to meet the client(s) after all. Our work was to basically reserve seats for them. Around 4 of them. We met another of the client's friend outside the stadium, and she paid us. $30 each. But all the queueing for nothing because they managed to find seats somewhere else.

Here's a pic I took at Kallang River:

Pretty eh?

We took a bus to Cathay Cineleisure to have our dinner at LJS. Chatted a while, then went walking around the mall. We slowly made our way to the top floor, because I wanted to look for an iPod sock. The usual stuffs, no biggie. Then we slowly made our way down again, hopped from shop to shop, look at bags, went into Mini Toons (?) for a while to see whether they got seel such stuffs. Unfortunately they don't. But they sure had lots of cute stuffs. =)

Then we stopped by Urban Connectors and I found this cute pouch that can fit my iPod nano.

And that's the end. Blogged for about 2 hours. Haha.

=)

------------------------------------

There's a first for everything. There is a couple seat in every MRT carriage. And hopefully I can sit there.

11:24 PM

Ice skating at J. East! (a 04 August post)

I came early (first to arrive to be exact). Met Delon shortly after. Since we're early, we decided to go to Popular first to look at coolers. Guess what we found:

Haha!

8 people: Me, Delon, Don, Li Min, Vig, Greg,Rui Hua and CS. CS came early but he said that he went to Fuji Ice Palace to look around. My first thought was, "CS went there to test the ice?" =X

We were fortunate to have 8 people to go. At least no one will be left out.

I bought pink gloves. Li Min bought light blue gloves. We switched one side. Haha.
Once again, we'll let the pictures speak for themselves.

We would like to thank Famous Amos for sponsoring us cookies. =)

A group shot before we leave. =)

We then went to J. East Entertainment Centre to eat. But the koptiam was full house. But then we hung out at the arcade for a while. Vig played Pump-It-Up, a new type of DDR. Only difference is that it has diagonals instead of up/down/left/right as well as a centre button.

188 bpm-Jong Kook Kim's Lovely!

We went to Sim Lim Square to buy Li Min's mouse and my iPod crystal casing. Then ate dinner at the foodcourt in the basement. After, train to Bugis to hang out at the arcade.

Greg and Vig are DDR pros!

Played Time Crisis 4, the basketball game and the korean drum game, played by Vig and Li Min. Greg whacked differently though. Haha.

Walked around town for a while. Walked and walked. I nearly went emo, till someone brought me back down to earth.

Took another group pic before we went back.

Trippy. Haha. =)
